Natus Vincere or Na'Vi is an eSports organization that was created in 2009 and is based in Ukraine. Back in 2009, the eSport was not developed as well as right now, especially in Ukraine. In October 2010, the organization decided to create a DotA 2 team. The team had many changes in the composition. But in 2011, the team was already formed. The line-up was Danil «Dendi» Ishutin, Alexander «XBOCT» Dashkevich, Dmitriy «LightOfHeaveN» Kupriyanov, Ivan «ArtStyle» Antonov, and Clement «Puppey» Ivanov.
But everything dramatically changed when Na'Vi became champions of the largest e-sports tournament in the world - The International. Na'Vi wins The International 2011, beating the Chinese team EHOME with a 3 to 1 score in the final and grabbing a whopping prize of $1,000,000.
The team was on top. It won prizes in many minor and major events. The team's preparation was at a good level in the preseason because the team easily got to The International 2012. As always, Na'Vi showed an excellent game and won a series of victories, reaching the finals. In the finals, Na'Vi played with the Chinese team Invictus Gaming, and they managed to win only one card in the BO5 series. And the team took an honorable second place. But the guys were not upset. Since there were still tournaments and victories ahead, the players were sure that the star Na'Vi would shine again. The new season began, and the team again showed excellent results. In 2013, Na'Vi took first place already in 7 tournaments and won prizes in three more. The season went well. Despite positive emotions after a great season and belief in success, the team again took second place, losing to The Alliance team at The International 2013.
In 2014, the leadership of the team decided to change the composition of the team. After which, the team slowly began to fade and disappeared from the first places of the championships. But despite the endless permutations in the composition of Na'Vi continued to delight fans. The guys took at least once the first or second place in various championships for each next season.
And the most memorial signs out in the Na'Vi DotA2 team was leaving of Danil «Dendi» Ishutin on September 1, 2018. He left the organization with these beautiful words: «Thank you for the eight years of support and trust. I enjoyed every minute and wish future teams the best of luck!»
Fans believed that once team Na'Vi returns and wins again.
This season, after TI9, the team has changed again. The guys have already been able to win OG, the champions of The International 2019, having won two BO3 games. Throughout 2019, the team's composition was changing a lot, as the players could not find their game, which affected the team's results as a whole. This continued until the fall of 2020. On September 18, the organization fired the active roster of the team, namely «Crystallize», «young G», «9pasha», «Mag~» except «illias», who remained as a reserve player and as a result was sold to VP.Prodigy in November.
On September 22, the organization signed the FlyToMoon roster, namely Alik «V-Tune» Vorobey, Bogdan «Iceberg» Vasilenko, Victor «GeneRaL» Nigrini, Vladimir «RodjER» Nikogosyan, and Andrey «ALWAYSWANNAFLY» Bondarenko for a trial period to participate in such tournaments as, OGA Dota PIT Season 3 and ESL One Germany. In November, «Mag~» joined the team as a coach.
With the new roster, the team showed a good result at the end of 2020 at OGA Dota PIT S3: Europe / CIS, taking 4th place, and at ESL One Germany 2020, took second place.
