The Peruvian Dota 2 team Ego Boys was created on May 24, 2019. This team is geographically located in South America and was founded during the 2018/19 Dota Pro Circuit season. The roster that was formed when the team was created included such players as «Timado», «LeoStyle-», «Kingteka», «Matthew» and «Masoku».
Unfortunately, the original line-up did not last long. The first rearrangements began in June in the summer. By the end of the summer, the team had no more players from the original roster. The players who left were replaced by «NaoG», «Alone», «Valqui», «D1smar», and «Panda». The team was initially an outsider in its region, but this did not prevent it from taking first place at EPICENTER Major 2019 South America Open Qualifier # 1 and The International 2019: South America Open Qualifier # 2. Even though the team did not qualify for any of the tournaments, the result was quite good. The team also took part in many Tier - 3 tournaments. The best results were second place at Copa MasGamers 2019 and third at joinDOTA League Season 16 Americas.
2020 was not so successful for the team. The team did not take first place in tournaments. Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 5 became the best tournament of the year for Ego Boys, where the team took second place and received $ 2,500. It is also worth noting the 7th place in the Realms Collide: The Burning Darkness tournament. At the end of 2020, all players left Ego Boys, and on December 26, the organization announced the signing of a new roster. The new players on the team were «NaoG», «Alone», «Sacred», «Ins», and «Prada».
