The organization was founded back in 2004. But the first steps in the direction of such discipline as DotA 2 organization began in the winter of 2011. Then Team Empire decided to re-qualify its Heroes of Newerth squad and move on to a new discipline for the organization as DotA 2. Team Empire consisted of players such as Roman «Scandal» Sadotenkov, Dmitry «LeeN» Kurylin, Denis «uniQFazer» Sharov, Ilya «eLight» Matveev, Valentin «Spize» Kovalenko. But after a couple of months, the team changed.
The team won various tournaments. The team won first place in the Dota 2 Champions League Season 5, MLG Pro League Season 1, StarLadder StarSeries Season 11, Premier Excellent Moscow Cup, Excellent Moscow Cup 2, Dota 2 Champions League Season 3, ROG MASTERS 2017 with 2014 to 2017.
The most remarkable thing is that many famous players played for this team who achieved a lot in DotA 2.
But the once-powerful team in 2018-2020 practically did not show good results. In 2019, it was worth noting the first place in the BTS Spring Cup: Europe tournament, the second on WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Radiant and in 2020, the first place in the Vulkan Fight Series tournament in June. During 2020, the team changed many players and at the end of 2020 has a roster with only three players, namely Alexey «Smiling Knight» Sviridov, Oleg «sayuw» Kalenbet, and Sergey «EcNart» Slobodianiuk.
