Team creation

Vici Gaming is one of the most successful Chinese eSports organizations. The composition of the Vici Gaming Dota 2 team was created in the fall of 2012. The organization has assembled a team of players such as «sydm», «cty», «xtt», «fy» and «Fenrir». The team did not have experience playing in tournaments; the only person who previously participated in such events was «sydm». But this did not prevent the team from qualifying for the G-League 2012 Season 2. But no matter how the roster showed themselves well in the qualifiers, they failed to win prizes. In the winter of 2013, the organization decided to sign the composition of the team Greedy. This team has become a substitute for Vici Gaming. Players of this team previously had experience playing DotA All-Stars. In the spring of the same year, the organization accepted the «ZSMJ» player, which eventually replaced «sydm».

Early years

In the summer of 2013, the team did not qualify for The International 2013. The organization was not happy with the results of its wards. Shortly after this event, the team left «PandaPanPan», «ZSMJ» and «Nada».The organization decided to immediately sign «Sylar» and «Super», after these replacements, the team began to show good results. The team, «Sylar» and «Super», «fy», «rOtk» and «Fenrir» which were coached by former EHOME player «QQQ», took part in The International 2014 tournament. The team showed a great game. The team matches were a pleasure to watch. Everything turned out very well, but the team could not win the final game, and took an honorable second place. After the tournament, the team immediately left two players, «Sylar» and «rOtk», in their place, the organization invited «Black ^» and «iceiceice».

2014-2019

Despite frequent changes in the roster, 2014 and 2015 were quite successful for the team. The team took first places in i-League Season 1 and The Summit 2, as well as won a prize in the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2015.

At The International 2015 World Cup, the team again showed an excellent game. The team managed to take fourth place, which is a really excellent result.

After which the team began to frequently change the composition of the team, which led the team into a slight decline. From 2016 to 2018, the team showed mediocre results, both for a team of this level.

In 2019, everything changed when the new team began to play. The team with such players as «Paparazi», «Ori», «Yang», «Fade», «Dy» won first places on StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 1, DreamLeague Season 11, EPICENTER Major, Midas Mode 2 - Asia, MDL Chengdu Major China Closed Qualifier. And also showed a reasonably good result at The International 2019, taking 5-6 places.

2020

2020 was a difficult year for the team, but nevertheless, the team managed to win. The team won two victories at major Chinese tournaments, such as OGA Dota PIT Season 1: China and OGA Dota PIT S3: China. The team finished the year in fourth place at the OGA Dota PIT S4: China tournament. From the previous line-up, only «Ori» remained in the team, the other players left the team and were replaced by «23savage», «old eLeVeN», «Pyw», «Dy», as well as «Erica» often acts as a substitute.
