Lai «Fonte» Xingyu is a Chinese e-sports player in Dota 2 discipline. The future e-sportsman was born on August 18, 1996. He began his competitive career in 2015.
In December 2015, Lai began performing as a member of the DUOBAO team. Lai played for this team for more than six months, until July 2016. During this time, the team did not show any good results. Mainly occupied the last places in tournaments and qualifications. In September 2016, during a major reshuffle in the teams, Lai joined the MAX.X team. But with this team, the player could not reach special heights. The team took first place at the ROG MASTERS China Qualifier and got into the tournament, in which the team took 9-12 places. In March 2017, the player moved to the first composition of the organization, to the Team MAX team. With this team, Lai took second and third places in small tournaments. During the qualifications for The International 2017, the team showed a good result but still could not get on the tournament itself. In September 2018, the player left the team and joined the Newbee organization, where he played in the second-team team of Newbee Young. In the new team, the player’s affairs were still not going very well. For almost a year, the team with Lai was able to win only one tournament, namely Feng Ye Professional Invitational Season 1, and also to take second place in the Betway Dota 2 Asia League Season 1.
After this, Lai decided on the eve of The International 2019 to move to the Typhoon E-Sports Club team. But unfortunately, with this team, the player did not manage to get to the desired tournament. After which, in October 2019, the player was invited to the Newbee organization, but now in its first roster. Lai agreed and not in vain. With the new team he became the winner in such tournaments as the JBO Asian Masters League S2 and World Electronic Sports Games 2019 China - Western Circuit. On February 23, 2020, the player was expelled from the NewBee team. It was even for the best for the player, as as a result, the organization and its players were permanently banned due to participation in match-fixing. Nevertheless, the player could not find himself in any other team. He managed to take part in several tournaments as a replacement. At the beginning of 2021, the player is a free agent.
