Du «Monet» Peng is a Chinese cyber-sportsman in Dota 2 discipline. He was born on September 25, 1999. He began his career in professional DotA in 2015. In May 2017, Du scored 9k MMR, becoming the youngest player in the Chinese region to achieve such a result.

2015-2018

The young player began his performances on the professional stage in October 2015, as part of the FTD club C. Team. The start of the player’s career was not very successful. Until the end of the year, the player took part in two tournaments, namely the ECL 2015 Dota 2 Autumn, where the player took sixth place and ninth place at the Shanghai Dota 2 Open Qualifier. In December, the squad was disbanded. In March 2016, the player was signed by the CDEC Avenger team. And in May, the player announced himself on the entire Chinese professional scene, taking second place at Manila Major 2016: Chinese Open Qualifier # 2, and the first at ESL One Frankfurt Chinese Pre-Qualifiers. Also, in June, Du, with the team tried their hand at the open qualifiers for The International 2016, but unfortunately, the team took only second place, which did not allow them to get to the tournament. In July, the team showed an excellent game at the G-League 2016 tournament, which helped the team take fourth place. The team also took second place in the tournament VPGame Pro League Season 2. In October, the player took fourth place in the Shanghai Dota 2 Open # 2 tournament, and also made a name for himself around the world by taking first place at The Boston Major 2016: China Qualifier and fifth in the Dota2 Professional League Season 2 - Top tournament. 2017 did not start as successfully as 2016 ended. Until June, the team performed mediocre without showing a great game. But everything changed when the team took third place in the EPICENTER 2017 tournament. At the end of June, the team took second place in the closed qualifiers for The International 2017, which allowed the team to take part in the main event of the year. Before The International 2017, the team still managed to perform at the Mars Dota 2 League 2017 tournament, in which it took second place. At The International 2017, the team showed an excellent game, which allowed the team to take third place. Until the end of the year, the team took part only in qualifications, except for several tournaments. The team managed to win the Dota2 Professional League Season 4 (2017 S2) - Top and take third place in the Perfect World Masters. 2018 was a lousy year for Du and the team. The team held low places in tournaments. In June, the team took third place at The International 2018 China Qualifier, which did not allow the team to take part in the tournament. The organization was unhappy with such results and decided to dissolve the composition. In September, at the time of the Reshuffles, the player was signed by Royal Never Give Up. In the new team, the player showed a good game, but this was not enough to take the team to a new level. In November, the team managed to take third place in the DreamLeague Season 10. At the end of the year, the team’s results deteriorated utterly. The team began to take no higher than fifth place in different tournaments.

2019-2020

2019 began quite a bit. 5-8 places in different tournaments until June. In June, the team was able to win the WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Dire Asia, as well as take first place at The International 2019 China Qualifier. At The International 2019 itself, the team performed not poorly and took seventh place. The year the team finished with second place in the Yabo Supreme Cup tournament. 2020 started quite successfully. The team took second place at the WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 and first place at ESL One Los Angeles 2020 - Online: China. And in April, the player became the winner of the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 - Online: China tournament. Until the end of July, the team showed good results, mostly taking prizes. In September, after big reshuffles in the Chinese region, the player signed Team Aster. In the new team, the player was able to take second place at the China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2 tournament and the Huya Winter Invitational tournament.
