Zhang «Eurus» Chengjun is also known to Dota 2 fans as «paparazi» was born on June 27, 1996, in China. He began his career in the professional scene of DotA 2 in the summer of 2015.
«Eurus» first started playing in little-known teams, such as Immortal Magneto Gaming and Team FanTuan, with the latter he even managed to participate in tournaments. They took the first place at the Dota 2 Radiant & Dire Cup 2015 Qualifier Group B, and the team was not able to show a good result at the tournament itself, therefore they finished the competition in 7-8th place. «Eurus» showed a good game and in January 2016, and he is invited to play for the organization of Invictus Gaming. But two months later, Zhang moved to the second team of the organization, IG Vitality. In the new team, «Eurus» played a year and a half. During this time, he and the team took first places in such tournaments as H-Cup Season 7, VPGame Pro League Season 2, WCA2016 CN Qualifiers S2, World Cyber Arena 2016. In 2016, the team missed the main tournament of the year The International. 2017 was less successful for the team. The team showed itself well in the qualifications, but at the tournaments, they showed a mediocre result. An example is tournaments such as Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017, The Kyiv Major 2017: China Qualifier, StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 China Qualifier. The team took first places in these qualifications, but something went wrong in the tournaments themselves. In June 2017, the team took first place at The International 2017: China Qualifier, and here the story repeats. Victory in qualifications and took only 13-16 place at The International 2017. To put it mildly, Eurus did not suit this result, so he decided to leave the team. But next month, he signs a contract with Vici Gaming. Here the player’s things are going better, first place in qualifications and already prize-winning places of the tournaments themselves. In 2018, he and the team took first place in the Dota2 Professional League Season 5 (2018 S1) - Top and received a direct invitation to The International 2018. At the main tournament of the year, the team took 9-12 places.
Zhang «Eurus» Chengjun was not very upset about the result, so he concentrated on the next year. Together with the team in 2019, he wins four major tournaments and takes a record 5-6 place for himself at The International 2019. Until the end of 2019, the team with his participation took part in several more tournaments and took first or prize place in three out of four. 2020 for the player is not as successful as 2019. In January, the team took third place at the DreamLeague Season 13 tournament, and in March, third at the China Dota2 Professional League Season 1. In May, the player won the OGA Dota PIT Season 1: China tournament. At the beginning of autumn, during the reshuffles, the player moved to the Elephant team. As part of the new team, the player won two tournaments in November and December, China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2 and OGA Dota PIT S4: China.
