Akbar «SoNNeikO» Butaev is an esports player in Dota 2 discipline, originally from Uzbekistan. He was born on May 16, 1997. He began his career in competitive DotA in 2014.
Akbar appeared in professional DotA in 2014. First, the player took part in tournaments with different CIS teams as a Stand-In. At the beginning of his career, Akbar managed to play with such teams as Aware Gaming, Cleave Gaming, and Team Empire. In October, the player was signed by the Power Rangers team. Until the end of the year, Akbar's best result was second in the Trilogy Cup. 2015 did not start very successfully. Until March, the team was able to take only second places at the Esportal Dota 2 League Invitational Tournament 2 and Esportal Dota 2 League Invitational Tournament 3. tournaments. After that, the team lost sponsors. This event forced Akbar to leave the team. At the end of the month, the player joined the Natus Vincere organization. These were not the best times for the team. At The International 2015, the team took the last place, and at all other tournaments, it performed poorly. At the end of the year, the organization decided to disband the team. In early 2016, the organization announced that it was decided to form a team based on Akbar and Daniil «Dendi» Ishutin. In the new composition, Akbar was chosen as the team captain. But at first, the results of the team were not comforting. But in the second half of the year, the team was able to show all its strength. The team took second place in the DreamLeague Season 5 and ESL One Frankfurt 2016 tournaments, as well as fourth place in the Summit 5 tournament. In July, Akbar and the team finally won their first victory in two years. Then the team was able to take first place in the Starladder i-league StarSeries Season 2 tournament. The team also managed to get a direct invitation to The International 2016, but unfortunately, the team took the last place. After that, the organization decided to dissolve the composition. In December, the player joined the Vega Squadron team.
2017 began with a victory at the Royal Arena # 2 tournament. Further, the team's game began to decline. Also, in March, the team managed to take second place at WellPlay Invitational # 7. Then Akbar left the team. In April, the player performed in such bands as Comanche and Double Dimension as Stand-In. At the end of April, it became known that Natus Vincere again signed Akbar. The team still did not show good results. The team could not qualify for The International 2017, as in other tournaments, the team occupied low places. The exception was the Adrenaline Cyber League, Midas Mode - Europe, MDL Macau, and DreamLeague Season 8, where the team took first, second, and third and fourth places, respectively. In January 2018, the player left the organization and was inactive until June. In June, Akbar took part in the open and closed qualifiers for The International 2018 as part of the 20 min afk less team. But unfortunately, the team could not get into the tournament. In September, after the significant reshuffles, Akbar was again signed by Natus Vincere. Despite the team showing excellent results in the qualifications, the team took the last place at the tournament itself. In October, Akbar left the organization. And in late November, the player joined the new Chicken Fighters team. 2020 started quite successfully for the team. The team has already won the Arena of Blood and Spring Championship tournaments and finished fourth at Hot Price League Season 2. After such achievements, the player and the team were signed by the European organization Ninjas in Pajamas. But unfortunately, under the new name, the players could not show good results. In this connection, the collective was disbanded at the end of November. After such events, Akbar joined the Live to Win team. The best result of the player until the end of 2020 was second place at the EPIC League Season 2 Division 2. In February 2021, the player moved to the AS Monaco Gambit team.
