William «hFn» Medeiros Brazilian eSports player Dota 2. Born on August 31, 1997. He began his career in competitive professional DotA in 2013.
At the age of 15, William took part in his first tournament, Netolic Pro League # 3 West, in August 2013 as part of the PaiN Gaming team. The debut of the player was not very successful; the team then took 9th place. After which the player becomes inactive. William returned to the competitive Dota only in April 2015. The return of the player was quite triumphant, together with the Jungle Kings team, William took third place at the Zotac Starleague, two months later, in the Rebeldes team, first place at the BTS Americas Open Qualifier, in September second place at the X5 Mega Arena 2014 along with Keyd Stars and in October another third in the 2014 Brasil Game Cup. After such a successful 2014, in March 2015, the player was invited to join PaiN Gaming, who again became interested in a young promising player. In the new team, the player had both ups and downs. If at the first tournaments practically nothing happened, then in August the player won first place on the On Art Challenge Series Season 2, then again a series of failures in early September, then again two victories in the Xtreme League # 1 and Brasil Game Cup 2015 tournaments. At the end of the year, the player left the PaiN Gaming team and joined the T Show team. In December, with the new team, the player took fourth place in the ProDotA Cup Americas # 1 tournament In 2016, William occasionally played for different teams. Still, the main achievements of the player were achieved with the T Show team, namely the victory in the Xtreme League # 2 tournament and with the PaiN Gaming team, first place in the Brasil Game Cup 2016, second in joinDOTA League Season 10 America and fourth in the ProDotA Cup Americas # 6. Also, with the Kingao + 4 team, the player finished second at the WESG 2016 Americas Finals. At the end of the year, the player joined the SG e-sports team, with which he took third place in December at ProDotA Cup Americas # 8. In 2017, William continued to perform with the SG e-sports team. With this team, the player managed to win the Brasil Game Cup 2017 Rio tournament, took fourth place in DreamLeague Season 7 NA Division, and second in The Final Match Season 1. But, probably, the most interesting was the performance at The Kyiv Major 2017, where the team finished fifth a place. In November 2017, William returned to the PaiN Gaming team, and this time for a long time. 2018 was quite successful for both the player and the team. The team won first place at the WESG 2017 South America Finals but soon failed to perform at The Bucharest Major. After this, he again showed a good game and took second place at World Electronic Sports Games 2017. Then the team took part in several more tournaments, but they fail to occupy the third place. In June, the team easily won first place at The International 2018 South America Qualifier and at The International 2018: South America Open Qualifier # 1. In August, the team performs at The International 2018, but unfortunately, they took the last place at it. At the end of the year, the player left the team, but returned five months later, as William did not show good results with the Chaos Esport Club team.
Returning to PaiN Gaming, the player again began to win first places in various tournaments, including CBDota and World Electronic Sports Games 2019 Brazil Finals. 2020 started well enough. The team managed to take second place at CBDota 2 and take part in several qualifications. In February, the player took second place in the CBDota 2 tournament, and on April 9, it was officially announced that the organization had disbanded the team. After that, William played for Kingao + 4 and Midas Club, but the player did not stay in one of the teams for a long time. In July, the player joined the CR4ZY team. As part of the new team, William took second place at The Great American Rivalry Season 1 Division 1 and BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas, as well as fifth place at ESL One Thailand 2020: Americas. Unfortunately, history repeated itself over and over again, and the team was disbanded. Until the end of the year, the player continued to play for little-known North American teams.
