Vasily «AfterLife» Shishkin is a Russian e-sports player in the discipline of DotA 2. Born on March 13, 1997. He began his professional competitive career at the age of 16.
The first appearance in the competitive Dota Vasily was in October 2013. Then the player took 3-4 place in the SteelSeries Euro Cup # 2 tournament for the ASpera team. In December of that year, he still managed to play for the Can’t Describe team, but what about the first, that with the second team, the player did not continue his career. In April 2014, Vasiliy became a member of the DreamTeam 168 team for four months. With the team, he took part in seven tournaments, but could not achieve good results in more than one of them. He also participated in the MSI Beat IT 2014 European Qualifiers. After the team failed to win on those qualifications, the organization broke up. Then Vasily joined the Album Sheets team. But in January 2015, he left the team, as she, too, did not show good results. Then Vasily changed several teams over the year, such as ASpera, Moskow Five, Big Red Machine, Hard’N’Play, CIS Rejects. With the latter, Vasily managed to win two tournaments at once, NVIDIA Dota 2 CIS Cup Series Grand Final # 1 and PGL Dota 2 Pro-AM. At the end of the year, in December, the player was invited by Team Spirit. The year ended well enough for Vasily. He won first place in the ProDotA Cup Europe # 1 and 3-4 at the D2CL Christmas Charity Magic. Vasily performed with Team Spirit until March 2016. After 13-16 places at The Shanghai Major 2016, the player left the team. Then he joined Team Empire. Although the team was not able to qualify for The International 2016 and showed a disastrous performance at The Manila Major 2016, but showed an excellent game at the Global Grand Masters tournament and won first place there. 2019 was a pretty good year for Vasily as part of Gambit. He won tournaments like WePlay! Dota 2 Winter Madness and WePlay! Dota 2 Valentine Madness. But after a failure on qualifications at The International, the composition of Gambit was changed. Vasily found himself in the new Winstrike team. In early 2020, after failing to qualify for the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 CIS Open Qualifier, the team was disbanded. The player starts playing for different teams, such as HellRaisers, Team Spirit, EXTREMUM, and Live to Win. The player achieved the best results with the EXTREMUM team, taking first place at the Arena of Blood Season 2 tournament and qualifying for OMEGA League: East Europe. At the beginning of 2021, the player was signed by the AS Monaco Gambit organization.
