Later it turned out that his departure from Invictus Gaming was due to disagreements with the organization’s leadership with his contract and many other factors. In November 2016, Anathan won his first-ever tournament with OG, namely Elimination Mode Season 2. After this, he again won his first tournament from Valve at The Boston Major. Also, «ana» showed excellent results with his team throughout the season. OG won The Major Major, after which the team was invited to The International 2017. At the tournament, the team could not show the result that it was counting on and took 7-8 place. After the end of The International 2018, Anathan announced that he wants to take a break from the professional scene for a year. But the situation in the OG team did not give Anathan a full rest. In early June, a few months before The International, the OG team lost its two key players. And the captain of the «N0tail» team convinced «ana» to return. After that, Anathan as part of the OG team, along with «N0tail», «Topson», «ceb» and «JerAx» qualified for The International 2018. And OG, being an outsider of the tournament, was able to win it.
