Abed «Abed» Azel Yusop is a Filipino professional player in the discipline of DotA 2. Abed was born on August 2, 2000. The future esportsman has grown in Dasmarinas in the province of Cavite, in the Philippines. It is not surprising that a boy from a young age with his older brother, Ahmed Rheeza, was carried away by computer games, as their parents own an Internet cafe near their house. From childhood, while still a child, Abed often spent time there.
Abed started playing DotA 2 back in 2014 when he was 14 years old. In the same year, the player became famous thanks to his impressive game at Invoker and Meepo. Then Abed was on the MMR leaderboards of Southeast Asia. The following year, Abed joined its first professional-level team. At first, the team was called MSI-EvoGT, but soon the team was renamed to Trackmate. With a new name, the band performed at MPGL Season 7 in March 2015. After participating in the tournament, the team performed together with the Australian team, Can't Say Wips. Then Ralph Richard «RR» Peñano was pleasantly surprised by the game of the young esportsman, and invited him to play for the Execration team. But Abed was forced to refuse the offer, arguing that it would interfere with his studies at school. But the story did not end there, as Execration was aimed at Abed. In January 2016, the organization again contacted a young, promising player. Then, with the blessing of his father and with his support, Abed «Abed» Azel Yusop joined the Execration organization.
After Abed joined the team, the team was unable to take part in tournaments in mid-2016. But soon, «Abed» hits The International 2016, where he shows an incredible game on his signature hero Meepo. In a game with the compLexity team, he makes 18 kills with 0 deaths. Then everyone was shocked by the play of this young player, who showed the result in 1200 XPM and 900 GPM. Unfortunately, the team did not show good results at The International 2016. But soon after, a small change in the composition of Abed wins his first tournament, the MPGL Southeast Asian Championship 2016. December 30, 2016, Abed leaves the team and soon joins Team Onyx. With this team, Abed takes place at The Kyiv Major, showing his game perfectly in the qualifications for the tournament. In June 2017, Abed qualified for The International 2017 with the Digital Chaos team. But at the tournament itself, the team performed not very well. In November 2017, Abed left the team and joined the Fnatic team. Abed played for Fnatic for almost two years. But due to setbacks at The International 2018 and 2019, Abed decides to change the team.
Shortly after leaving Fnatic, the Evil Geniuses organization invites the player to join their team. Since September 2019, Abed Azel Yusop has advocated for the organization of Evil Geniuses. For both the player and the team, the year was not successful enough. The best result for Abed was third place at DreamLeague Season 11 and second place at the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore tournament. The team also received an invitation to The International, but unfortunately took 13-16 place there. 2020 was not a busy year, but quite good. The player took part in seven tournaments. However, the team did not win one but was always in the top 3. It is worth noting the second place at DreamLeague Season 13, which brought the team 160 thousand dollars.
