Avery «SVG» Silverman is an American eSportsman and Dota 2 trainer. A native of the United States was born on December 5, 1993.
Avery began his career in 2014. He played for North American teams such as Dark Horse, Cloud 9, and Shazam. Avery has the status of one of the best support players in the North American region. Despite his outstanding achievements in competitive DotA as a player, Avery also established himself as an excellent coach. Under his leadership, in May 2016, the Evil Geniuses team began to improve their results noticeably. This led the team to third place at The International 2016. For 2015 and 2016, one can note victories at such tournaments as BTS Americas # 2 for the Cloud9 team and ProDotA Cup Americas # 1, ProDotA Cup Americas # 3, BTS Americas # 4 and ProDotA Cup Americas # 5 for the Shazam team. After The International 2016, he left Evil Geniuses and joined a new team led by EnternalEnvy, Team NP. But after relatively weak results, Avery was expelled from the squad. As a result, the player returned to Evil Geniuses as a coach. However, this time he could not help the team achieve the same impressive result at The International as last year.
In 2018, Avery decided to leave the coaching post and return to his playing career. After that, the player did not for long become the captain of Team World, which included players from all over the world. But unfortunately, the team soon broke up. After that, Avery founded the North American team, which was later signed by the organization VGJ.Storm. With this team, he won his first LAN tournament at GESC Thailand. The team also showed excellent results in qualifications for The International 2018. Despite the superb start at the tournament, the team managed to take only 7-8th place. After The International 2018, the entire team left VGJ.Storm and joined Forward Gaming.
But after disappointing results, in March 2019, Avery left the team and stopped actively playing on the professional stage. In November 2019, the player was signed by Chaos Esports Club. But the new organization soon disbanded the composition. In April 2020, the players decided to create their own team called the Quincy Crew, and it was right. Avery has had an amazing year with the team. The team almost immediately seized the initiative in the region. In April, the player with the team took second place in tournaments, and in May, the winning streak began. Until September inclusive, the team took only first place in tournaments. The player performed at all eight, the best of which were ESL One Thailand 2020: Americas, OMEGA League: Americas Divine Division, and BTS Pro Series Season 2: Americas. The team lost 3-2 in the final to Team Zero in November and finished second in the DOTA Summit 13 Online: Americas. But already in December, the player rehabilitated himself and, together with the Quincy Crew, won the Realms Collide: The Burning Darkness tournament.
