Zhang «y`» Yiping is a Chinese e-sportsman, born on August 8, 1998. Born and raised in China. He began his professional career in Dota 2 at 16. In 2014, he first entered the professional scene with the Speed Gaming.cn team.
In May 2015, Zhang began playing for Speed Gaming.cn. He won his first tournament in the same year in December, but as part of another team. In August, «y`» became a member of the renewed Wings Gaming team, and already in December, he won first place in the Dota 2 Secondary Pro League. The year 2015 was not very busy for the team, but the team was able to declare itself to the whole world, taking fourth place at the World Cyber Arena 2015.
The year 2016 was very successful for the player, as well as for the whole team. They took part in many qualifications. The team won their first victory in the new year at the ESL One Manila Chinese Qualifier, and then the ESL One Manila 2016 tournament itself won. The team was on top; at the next WCA2016 CN Qualifiers S1 tournament, the team also took first place. At the end of June, the team takes part in The International 2016: China Qualifier and takes first place there. The team quickly gained turns in preparation for The International. The victory for the team ended with The Summit 5. At The International 2016, the team was on top. The team won first place in the grand finals of the tournament. After which, in the fall, Wings Gaming wins two more tournaments, the Nanyang Dota 2 Championships - Cruise Cup # 1 and Northern Arena BEAT Invitational. After which, already in the new 2017 year, the affairs of the team begin to deteriorate. Despite the titles earned by the team, Zhang decides to leave the team, because over the past six months, the team has not won a single tournament and took shallow places. In June, the player changes the organization and begins to play for the EHOME team. As part of the new team, the player does not qualify for The International 2017. Over the past two years of 2018-2019, The International Champion Zhang «y`» Yiping, although he has shown a good game, is not enough for the team to win.
Recently, the team was able to win only one tournament in 2019, namely the Hainan Master Cup. 2019 ended for EHOME 7-8th in the World Electronic Sports Games 2019 China Finals. In September 2020, the player left the team due to poor results. And in October he already played at the tournament as part of the PSG.LGD team. For the new team, the player won China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 1, CDA-FDC Professional Championship and CDA-FDC Professional Championship Season 2. The player finished the year in second place at the OGA Dota PIT S4: China tournament.
