Andreas Frank «Cr1t-» Nielsen was born on July 13, 1996, in Denmark. He is currently a cybersports player in the Dota 2 discipline.
Andreas began his career as a professional player with Warcraft III. After which Andreas fell in love with this game. After «Cr1t-» played a good number of matches in the game, he decided to make this game a part of his life. Andreas wanted to create a team to participate in various group tournaments on the network. Soon after he wanted to turn his ideas into reality, he met Ace, who invited him to participate in We haz Asian in June 2012. After «Cr1t-» played a couple of games as a training session, the «Unicornxox»o team captain officially invited Andreas to become part of the team and take a mid-position. A little later in the same 2012, Andreas took part in the Star Series tournament with a team of Danish and German players. After a good game, he was invited to the H2k Gaming team. However, the team soon broke up. After leaving H2k Gaming, Andreas could not find a stable team, he managed to play for Danish teams such as Team Life and Meet Your Makers, but participation in these teams was not successful. But due to the fact that Andreas preferred to finish his studies at school first, therefore, temporarily stopped his performances on the professional stage. Even though he stopped actively taking part in competitions, «Cr1t-» wanted to show that he is a good player and sometimes took part in games in the FPL and IXDL leagues.
After leaving school, he continued to play in his free time. After The International 2015 ended, rumors of Andreas joining The Alliance were a rebuttal, and on August 26, 2015, he joined the Monkey Business team. In an interview, «Cr1t-» said that the team that put together N0tail has vast potential. After Monkey Business ceased to exist and a new OG team began to form, N0tail and s4 saw The Alliance become interested in «Cr1t-» and decided to invite him to OG. The newly formed squad showed promising results, taking third place at the MLG 2015 World Finals and qualifying for Frankfurt Major. The victory in this tournament was the first significant victory of Andreas, and also very important for the team as a whole.
At the beginning of 2016, «Cr1t-» showed poor results at The Shanghai Major 2016 and Dota Pit League Season 4. But he rehabilitated himself at the Manila Major tournament, showing the first-class game at Earth Spirit, Elder Titan and Lion, and became the MVP of the tournament. After poor results at The International 2016, Andreas decided to leave OG. A month later, «Cr1t-» joined the EG team as captain and replaced PDD. A month then, in October, Andreas wins his first tournament in a new team, namely MDL Autumn 2016, and also leads his team to the semi-finals of the Boston Major tournament. But Andreas and the team were defeated by their former OG team. EG ends the season with a victory at the China Top 2016 tournament, and «Cr1t-» and the former OG «Fly» player received the award as the best duet of the year according to GosuGamers. Andreas began the new season with a victory over his former OG team at the Dota Pit League Season 5. The team decides to take a short vacation, and then continue to prepare for such tournaments as DAC 2017 and Kyiv Major. But the former team of Andreas, OG, does not give EG a chance to win the Kyiv Major tournament. After which Andreas was waiting for a series of failures, at The International 2017, the team takes only 9-12 places. But everything is aggravated by the fact that the former team of Andreas, OG wins The International 2018 and 2019, and this puts a lot of pressure on the player and the team as a whole.
In the seasons 2017-2018 and 2018-2019, the team was able to take first place in just two tournaments. After this, in the summer of 2019, the composition of the team changed. At the end of the year, Andreas helped the team win a fourth place at the MDL Chengdu Major and second at the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore, which brought the team a total of $ 180,000. In 2020, the situation changed for the better. The team had a fairly successful year. The player first managed to take second place at the DreamLeague Season 13 tournament. Then throughout the spring, the team won such tournaments as SL One Los Angeles 2020 - Online: North America and BTS Pro Series: Americas. At the end of the year, the player with the team was able to take a couple of third and fifth places in various tournaments. In early 2021, Andreas and EG won the Dota Pro Circuit 2021: S1 - North America Upper Division tournament, which opened their way to the Major.
