Ilyas «Kingslayer» Ganeev, AKA «Illias» Russian Esportsman, was born April 12, 2002. He started his career in e-sports quite at a young age; the young man played his first match on the professional stage at the age of 15.
In 2017, Ilyas began performing in the team of Comanche. Then he was only 15 years old. Then, the player took 3-4th place in the Almeo Esports Cup with the team and took part in one tournament and four qualifications. In 2018, Ilyas decided to change the team, after which he played for the rosters of as many as nine teams. In different teams' rosters, the player took second place in the ProDotA Cup Europe # 28 and QIWI TEAM PLAY Season 1.
In 2019, he decided to try his hand at the year's main event, namely The International. He found a team that needed a player and joined 7sight. With this team, Ilyas tried to win The International 2019: CIS Open Qualifier # 2. But unfortunately, the idea was unsuccessful, and the team dropped out, taking only 9-16 places. In December 2019, the player was signed by the Natus Vincere organization, which had been watching Ilyas for a long time, and most likely was waiting for him to come of age. «Kingslayer» played for Natus Vincere, but it was reported that while the players were playing tournaments from the Bootcamp, Ilyas played his games from home.
At the time of 2020, the organization was not in its best shape, from which most of the tournaments were a failure for Ilyas. The best result for the player was second place in the Gamers Without Borders Show Match 2020. In September, the organization announced that the squad would be disbanded. Ilyas was immediately interested in the Virtus.Pro organization. Previously, there was a conflict between the organizations over the player. The NaVi management decided that they would dictate the terms of the player's transfer. And so it happened. Due to the contract with NaVi, «Kingslayer» could not join Virtus.Pro, and was inactive. But the Virtus.Pro players really wanted to see Ilyas in their team, so they decided to pay the penalty of the NaVi contract and Virtus.Pro itself paid for the player's transfer. In mid-December, Ilyas took part in the qualification of the EPIC League Division 1, and then in the tournament itself already in a new team, namely Virtus.Pro. Ilyas and his team took first place on it.
