Damien «kpii» Chock Biography

Damien «kpii» Chock was born on April 13, 1998, and grew up in Australia. The professional cyber sportsman in the discipline of DotA 2 began back in 2014. Damien played his first games for such bands as Noxious Gaming and AkmA. But «kpii» won its first victory together with the Can't Say Wips AU team. The team took second place in the Defense of the Australians Spring 2014 tournament, the largest DotA 2 tournament in its region at that time.

2015-2018

But the player himself was not very happy with his results and decided to move and build his career in Korea. There he began to play for the MVP Phoenix team, the composition of which was mainly from Korean players. MVP.Phoenix passed the qualifying tournament, taking second place at the South East Asian qualifiers for The International 2015. After which the team got to The International 2015, where the team took 8th place.

After that, «kpii» decided to change the team. In late August, he played for the EHOME.K team, the team that finished second in the Chinese region at The Shanghai Major 2016 Open Qualifiers. But unfortunately, the team did not pass him. On March 25, 2016, the player joined the team of last year's champions at The International, namely NewBee. Soon the team reached third place at The Manila Major 2016 Chinese Qualifiers, after which it was defeated. In July 2016, Damien and the team took first place in the Nanyang Dota 2 Championships Season 2 and second in DPL Season 1. But the team failed at The International, took 9-12 places. The following year was more successful for the team. The team showed good results. At The International 2017, «kpii» with the team took second place.

2018 was a failure for the team and the player as a whole. At the International, the team dropped out in the first round. But «kpii» was honored to take part in the all-star match. He won the game with the team. After such a bad result at The International, «kpii» left the NewBee team, with whom he played for two years and transferred to Mineski.

2019-2020

Together with the new team, everything turned out not bad, but something the team lacked, as it occupied most often second places. At The International 2019 Southeast Asia Qualifier, the team takes the first place and goes to The International 2019, where the team takes 9-12 places. Such a result does not suit Damien, and he leaves the team. After some time, he finds himself in a new team, namely in TNC Predator. With this team, the player begins a new stage in his career. Since September 2019, the team, along with «kpii» took part in six events, of which they won first place in five of them. 2020 due to the pandemic, was not productive enough for the player. But it's worth noting that Damien helped the team take first place at LPL Pro 2020 Season 3 and BTS Pro Series Season 4: Southeast Asia and second place at BTS Pro Series: Southeast Asia.
