Wang «Ame» Chunyu is a Chinese e-sports player in DotA discipline 2. Born on April 7, 1997. He began his professional competitive career in 2015.
Compared to other players, Wang was immediately signed by the CDEC organization in September 2015 and did not try his hand at different teams. Even though the player was signed by CDEC, he was not on the leading team. The organization invited the player to gain experience in the second composition, namely CDEC Youth. The team took part in many qualifications for different tournaments, but unfortunately, was able to pass only one. But everything turned out to be good on it. The team took second place at the Dota 2 Radiant & Dire Cup 2015. In December, the team took another second place at the ECL 2015 Dota 2 Autumn tournament. 2016 began quite steadily for the player. Although the team did not show excellent results, it took part almost everywhere where the team schedule allowed. The team even showed relatively good results. At the H-Cup Season 6 tournament, the team took second place, at Nanyang Dota 2 Championships Season 2 took fourth, at CNA2016 CN Qualifiers S2 took third. In September, Wang signs the LGD team during a significant rehash. In the last months of 2016, Wang showed himself well in the game, and the team has a couple more prizes in various tournaments. 2017 was quite successful for Wang. The team showed excellent results in the tournament and took fourth place at The International 2017. In the new 2018 year, the team was on top, and Wang showed a great game. In January, the team took first place at the StarLadder i-League Invitational # 4: China Qualifier, and the team took second place at the tournament itself. For such achievements, the team receives a direct invitation to The International 2018 tournament. The team showed excellent results in the tournament, taking second place. Until the end of 2018, the team won prizes in several more tournaments.
2019 was not bad for the team, and the team continues to win prizes in various tournaments, such as ESL One Birmingham 2019 and MDL Disneyland® Paris Major. The team was also invited to The International 2019. The team played in their native China and was a favorite of the tournament. But unfortunately, the team took only third place. Nevertheless, it is also very prestigious for a tournament at this level. At the end of 2019, the player leaves the team. But in February 2020, Wang was signed by the organization CDEC Gaming. The player shows an excellent game in the new team and takes first place at China Dota2 Professional League Season 1 and OGA Dota PIT S2: China. But in October 2020, after the reshuffles of the Chinese professional Dota 2 scene, the player returns to the PSG.LGD team. The player wins three tournaments at once until the end of 2020 and takes second place in two more. From October 2020 to December, the player helped the team win over $ 150K.
