History of Oracle Dota 2 – the unusual predictor. For centuries, the Heirs of the Great Seat of Cymurri have produced their Oracles exclusively in the Ivory Incubarium, high in the mountains of Zealot's Range. The payment for Oracles was made in two installments. The first installment paid at the conception of the embryo, and the remainder was given only after the Oracle was trained and delivered to the Gate of the Graven King. The physical bodies of the Oracles are in our world, but their souls are always far from the body. The astral umbilical cord connects the soul to the body. When the Oracle's soul returns to his body, he speaks his predictions. Cymurri's advisors listen to these predictions and hear in them advice on diplomacy and future predictions. These predictions lead the Dynasty of the Graven King to win both in battle and at court. This went on for generations until the appearance of Nerif, who was to become the next Oracle at the court of the Graven King. But he was not like other predictors. He did not foreshadow the future. He shaped it. Because of this, the kingdom was often involved in conflicts with newfound enemies. Feeling the threat from Nerif, all immediately wanted to return inferior Oracle and replace him with a worthy one. But the Oracle in a dream predicted the death of the Ivory Incubarium. And so it happened, the ancient school was destroyed by a mountain collapse. Everyone refused Nerif, fearing for their lives, except for the Graven King. He thought that this Oracle was not defective, but on the contrary, and that it should be used to increase power and possessions. The Graven King did not fully understand how Nerif's predictions worked and simply forced Oracle to utter his wishes as a prophecy. At first, everything was fine. The Graven King boasted that he took fate into his own hands and tamed it. But when invading the kingdom of the Unsated Satrap's realm, the Graven King forced Nerif to tell that his victory was inevitable. But the Oracle just said quietly: "It could go either way." But the King was already sure of his victory, and he understood Nerif's words in his own way and was confident that his plan would not suffer significant losses, and there was no risk in it. But everything turned out to be not so simple. Everything that happened on the battlefield was impossible to convey in words or even imagine. Amid the carnage, the battle began to split in two. At every decisive moment in the battle, reality shattered into pieces. This also happened with the consciousness of the soldiers. They felt both alive and dead as if they existed and did not exist. Defeat and victory were also divided. The two armies felt at the same time that they had lost and won. The entire universe turned into a mirror that was shattered continuously into fragments of reality. All of this was reflected in massive madness. The Graven King went mad because of the incomprehensible concept of simultaneous defeat and victory. Reality continued to divide, dividing among themselves the options for what happened. People began to go crazy and lose the ability to eat, dress, fight, and reproduce. However, long before the consequences occurred, Nerif was captured. He was tied up and gagged. With the help of an artifact that could change dimensions, he was thrown out of his universe. Everyone hoped that Nerif had gone where he could no longer harm them. But it was too late, both for them and for us.
