The new function «Overwatch» is added in DotA 2. What is it?

In today’s update from Valve, in Dota 2 has been added the «Overwatch» function. «Overwatch» is a system that allows you to consider complaints from players about other gamers who somehow spoiled the gameplay, deliberately succumbed, used cheating software, etc.

Valve has previously added this feature to CS: GO. The user can watch the game record, with comments left by the players to the «bad guy». Thus, after watching the relevant player in the game, it will be possible to decide whether the player is guilty, not guilty, or lacking evidence in the precedent.

Users will receive a notification in their profile that they have gained access to the replay and can view it. If the verdict is correct, the user, in this case, the «judge», will receive points. If the «judge» is not conscientious or not attentive, as a result of which the verdicts will be false or incorrect, such a user will be denied access to the «Overwatch». Initially, Valve will form a list of users themselves who will have access to the system. Thus, reliable players will be selected for the «Overwatch». This will happen shortly.
It will be possible to complain about the player through the players’ table and the flag on the hero’s portrait.

Each user will be able to submit absolutely any number of complaints against one player. It is worth noting that Valve did this for a reason, since the more complaints the player receives, the more users will be able to take part in consideration of the episode with a possible violation.

From now on, users who have received many complaints will not receive a ban on the use of text or voice chat. Now all of them will automatically be mutated for all players. Now each player can decide if he wants to receive messages or hear the player with complaints.
