DotA 2 Ranking Table

DotA 2 Rank System

To get a rank in DotA, you will need to calibrate, in other words, play ten games, so that the system understands your level of play. You need to play a dozen games alone, and then the system will determine your level and give you a certain rank. The same system operates on the team game, ten games, counting by the system, determining the rank. After you have passed the calibration, you will get your rank, which you will further improve or vice versa.

New DotA 2 Rank Table

It used to be more comfortable, you remembered your MMR and could brag about it or remain silent about it. But now the ranking system of DotA 2 has changed. Now your achievements will be reset every six months, and this is how the new system of DotA 2 ranks.

I will try to explain everything as simply and quickly as possible.

Instead of the MMR, now you will have a medal, you will have to play for this rank for half a year, your defeats do not affect the progress in any way and do not affect the medal. In the future, the rating will be influenced not only by victories and defeats as before but also by how you played the match as a whole on the character. Even if your team lost, but you showed a good game, you will only benefit from it.

Each season you will have a new medal — no matter what rank you had in the past.

Both single and group games are counted, but the priority for single battles, to achieve a certain rank (“Divine,” “Immortal”) is possible only with a solo game.

The rank of “Immortal” will be regional, under the player’s medal will be his position ranking.

But again, the system of ranks of the DotA 2 is still changing.

The new system of DotA 2 ranks has seven stars for each medal, not five as the old DotA 2 rank system.

A new table of DotA 2 ranks looks like this.

• – Herald (0 to ~600 MMR)
• – Guardian (~760 to 1380 MMR)
• – Crusader (~1535 to 2160 MMR)
• – Archon (~2318 to 2930 MMR)
• – Legend (~3100 to 3720 MMR)
• – Ancient (~3880 to 4500 MMR)
• – Divine (~4650 to 5280 MMR)
• – Immortal (5500+ MMR)

And we will try to go through each of them, at least the developers have made a more exciting way of climbing the summit of the MMR.

Now there are no Den from the third floor with 1k MMR, DotA 2 now has shown to the world of Denis the “Guardian,” or we currently don’t have low skills players less than 1k MMR, we have “Heralds.” And the higher you rise, the steeper the DotA rankings table makes you. So, here’s a list of those items that you can get: Herald, Guardian, Crusader, Archon, Legend, Ancient, Divine! Well, do not forget about Immortal ones.

By the way, everything is fine, but the table of DotA ranks has already become very similar to the League of Legends (LoL) from the Riot studio.
