This article will tell about one of the most useful functions in the popular CS:GO game, which allows you to configure bind one or another key to drop bomb. In particular, what is it for, and why do professional gamers bind this function to some keyboard key or mouse button.
First, it’s worth explaining in more detail how bindings work. Usually, a bomb is dropped as follows: the player clicks the key “5” (standard in the game for carrying bombs) and only then can click key “G” to pass it to the teammate or throw it on the ground.
In fact, if a player throws a bomb at teammates on respawn, then he doesn’t care how to drop it. However, when a gamer is on the point and wants to throw a bomb at a teammate in some heavy situation, even an extra second can cost a lot. This is because, during this process, the user is not able to use their guns. It is at this moment that contact with the enemy can occur. While a player is standing with a bomb that he wanted to transfer to an ally, a player of the opposing team can easily kill him. It’s a shame, isn’t it? With a bind, such an offensive situation is practically impossible.
What makes this bind so good? First, this is elementary: instead of performing a whole series of manipulations, thanks to bind, it is enough to press just one key, thus help to save those very precious seconds.
For this reason, all-pro players prefer this method of dropping the bomb. Its advantage is that the command described below automatically drops the bomb and immediately turns on the gamer’s main gun. In this case, during bomb drop, the player will no longer need to lose the extra couple of seconds required for emergency switching of devices.
To do this, you need to open the in-game console and enter a special command in it: bind “v” “use weapon_c4; drop; “. From this moment, pressing “V” will drop the bomb, after which the weapon will automatically appear in the player’s hands.
The most convenient for yourself.
Like most of the commands in CS:GO, the bind command must be entered into the console. The console can be opened using the “~” key, which is often located under the “ESC” button.
To do this, you can use the video of the popular vlogger, eZstah, who has useful videos about CS:GO: bind a bomb, a quick throw of a flash grenade, a quick switch to a machine gun after throwing a bomb, etc.
