Hundreds of in-game Dota 2 items are sold daily on Steam. Most of them cost up to $ 20-30. But there are items for which the price is simply astronomical. Most players can’t afford them. Next is the top 5 ranking, which includes the most expensive items in Dota 2.

1. Pudge’s Hook Autographed by Dendi

Dragonclaw Hook item opens our Top 5.  This item for Pudge is expensive, but with Dendi’s signature, it costs much more. The Steam store will ask for from $ 150 to $ 500 for different variations of it. However, if it bears the autograph of cyber sportsman Daniil Ishutin, aka Dendi, you will have to pay even more for the hook – about $ 1,500. For this reason, it takes first place in this rating, which includes the most expensive items in Dota.

However, even if the player has money to buy Dragonclaw Hook, it is unlikely that it will be possible to purchase the item. It is very rare and hardly appears in the Steam store.

The history of the item is closely related to Dandi’s playing style. Valve decided to create a signature version of the weapon precisely after the player’s bright performances on Pudge, during which Dendi used a hook in a rather unusual way.

By the way, the controversy about the «fountain’s hook» method, which Daniel often used, still does not subside. Many argue that its roots are not a skill but a buggy Pudge that has not yet been «fixed».

2.  Mirana’s blue mount

This skin for the Mirana was also given to all who bought a character figurine released in 2017 and cost a whopping $ 400. Unlike the standard mount that resembles a saber-toothed tiger, this one looks more like a blue-white rabbit. It looks funny and unusual.

Today, Mirana figures have disappeared from sales.  The reason why the blue mount has become a real exclusive. And players do not really want such items, even though these are the most expensive skins in Dota 2, and these items can bring good money. There are only 15 offers on the Steam trading platform. And the prices for them are rather high. The cost of the skin ranges from $ 800 to $ 1000.

3. Axe’s fire ax

The cost of this item may vary depending on the seller. But the average price is between $ 700 and $ 1000. Therefore, the item deservedly got into the top 5 most expensive skins in Dota 2 in July 2021.

It is a double-edged ax for the hero Axe. The blades of which are blazing with flame. Weapon skin was given away for free if you purchased a hero figure from Weta Workshop for $ 250. Unfortunately, the number of figurines was limited, so after the edition run ended, the cost of the skin began to increase gradually and reached its current values.

4. Baby Roshan skins

Some of the Baby Roshan courier skins are extremely rare and the most expensive items in Dota 2. Their prices vary greatly and can range from $ 150 to $ 2500. It all depends on how often this or that skin is on sale.

The most expensive ones include:

• – Inscribed;
• – Dark Moon.

The latter has a very high cost, so it is almost impossible to find it on sale. However, on the Steam marketplace, the skin appears at most once every few months.

5. Spectre’s Soul of the Witness

Spectre’s skin is rounding out the top, which included the most expensive items in Dota 2. It is called the Soul of the Witness.

The high cost is due to the high rarity of the item. After all, it gave away only to those who saw the first kill while watching The International 2017.

As of today, the average price of the skin is $ 1000. Of course, you can buy it for less money, but finding cheap deals is extremely difficult.
