Rustem Telepov, aka mou, is a professional esports player from Kazakhstan. Previously, he specialized in the discipline Counter-Strike 1.6, and since 2014 has been playing CS:GO. Even though the cyber sportsman has never been in the top 20 CS players, according to HLTV, many experts recognize him as one of the best AWPers in the world.

Rustem Telepov was born on October 17, 1991, in Novosibirsk, but he spent his childhood and grew up in Kazakhstan. Because of it, Rustem became a citizen of Kazakhstan. Telepov became interested in video games during his school years, visiting a computer club with his friends. Like many of his peers, Rustem’s favorite shooter game was CS 1.6, in which he demonstrated success at the local level.
Developing esports skills, mou began taking part in tournaments and moving up the career ladder. He became a professional CS 1.6 player and defended NEXT.kz’s colors in this discipline for a long time. In 2011, the player loudly declared himself when the team won 4th place at World Cyber Games 2011. In 2014, mou’s game discipline changed. Now CS:GO became his main focus.
