There are three ways to customize the crosshair in CS:GO:

Styles

Six standard crosshair styles can be toggled in one line:

• cl_crosshairstyle 2 – wide dynamic crosshair with dots along the edges;
• cl_crosshairstyle 3 – wide dynamic crosshair without dots;

• cl_crosshairstyle 5 – a narrow dynamic crosshair without dots.

CS:GO crosshair customization: color and transparency

To set the crosshair color, enter the cl_crosshaircolor X command. X must be replaced with a number from 0 to 4 (each is responsible for a different color). If you enter cl_crosshaircolor 5, you can continue with fine-tuning the color.

A more accurate shade configuration is carried out by entering separate commands for each of the RGB spectrum channels (red, green, and blue). The cl_crosshaircolor five option is active.

After entering it, you need to enter cl_crosshaircolor_Y X one by one, where Y is the channel (R, G, or B), and X is a number from 0 (inactive channel) to 255 (maximum saturation):

• cl_crosshaircolor_r X – red saturation;
• cl_crosshaircolor_g X – green saturation;
• cl_crosshaircolor_b X – blue saturation.

For a completely white crosshair in each command, instead of X, 255 should be prescribed, and for a pure black – 0 for all channels.

You can set the transparency level with the cl_crosshairalpha X command that controls the alpha channel. X, as with colors, ranges from 0 (completely transparent) to 255 (nontransparent).

CS:GO crosshair form customization

• Enabling/disabling the crosshair point is performed by the cl_crosshairdot X command, where X is 1 (enabled) or 0 (disabled).
• The size of the cross is set by entering cl_crosshairsize X, where X is its value. The optimal range is from 1 to 10, but 6 will be too large for many players.
• A stroke that adds contrast is controlled by the cl_crosshair_drawoutline X command, where X is 1 (on) or 0 (off).
• The outline’s width can be set by entering cl_crosshair_outlinethickness X, where X is a number from 1 to 3.
• The gap in the center between the crosses is adjusted with the cl_crosshairgap X command. Here X can even be negative (-5 – no gap). The larger the number, the greater the distance.
• The thickness of the lines forming the crosshairs can be set via cl_crosshairthickness X. In this case, X can have a value from 1 to 100, and the larger, the thicker the line.
• To enable the T crosshair, enter cl_crosshair_t X, where X is 1 (enabled) or 9 (disabled).

Configuring the CS:GO crosshair through the generator

To avoid typing command codes manually, you can use the online configurator to change the grid. Some sites allow you to create your own targeting element using the mouse, immediately demonstrating the result. To create a crosshair, you need:

• Go to the site.
• Select the required parameters by moving the sliders and switches.
• Find a window with the command code of the resulting configuration.
• Copy the code and apply it in the CS:GO console.
