DotA 2 Couriers

DotA courier is a unit, which is designed to transfer items from the store to the heroes.

Like all items in Dota 2, couriers have their rarity. From Common to Immortal, but there is only one courier with Ancient rarity.

A player’s courier levels up as the player’s hero do. With each level, the courier gains an additional 10 movement speed and 10 health.
On the other side, each level also increases the courier’s gold bounty by 7 and respawn time by 7 seconds.
Besides these level bonuses, certain levels have additional effects:

• – Level 5: The courier gains a pair of wings, turning into a flying unit with flying vision.
• – Level 10: Unlocks the  Speed Burst ability.
• – Level 20: Unlocks the  Shield ability.

Couriers are ancient units with spell immunity, so their abilities are adequately fulfilled.

In addition to these features, the courier belongs to his unique look, which prevents certain spells from affecting him. The list includes only those interactions that are associated with this type of unit and ignore the presence of immunity to spells and belonging to ancient units. It also means that the spells listed here may not be able to affect couriers, even if they break through spell immunity or can affect ancient units.

Couriers do not count as heroes, so they, unlike ordinary creeps, do not have spells affecting only heroes.

Flying Courier behaves identically to Animal Courier, except for interaction with Proximity Mines. Mines do not respond to flying units and do not damage them.
