Back in 2011, an unknown team called FIRE decided to try their hand at a discipline such as DotA 2. The team consisted of North American players. But things started to change when the compLexity organization decided to sign this line-up.

Shortly after signing the team, one of the key players of «Jeyo” left the team, and the organization was forced to report that the composition of the team compLexity was inactive.

The compLexity of the DotA 2 team became active again after they appeared on joinDOTA Special Masters II and temporarily replaced players like «BuLba» and «Korok». But participation in the tournament was unsuccessful. Therefore, the team again became inactive.

Everything changed in the summer of 2014 when the organization signed the stayGreen team, which previously played in the Heroes of Newerth discipline. The team included «swindlemelonzz», «Limmp», «Zfreek», «Riser» and «MoonMeander». Sometime later, shortly before the qualifying games at The International 2015, the team was joined by «Fly» and «Zyzz». With the new roster, the team showed excellent results, out of 13 games in the qualifying round, the team lost only one.

But such a great result could not help the compLexity team at The International 2015. The team took only 9-12 places after it came out in third place after the group stage.

After a relative failure at The International, «Fly» and «MoonMeander» left the team and decided to create their own Monkey Business team.

After which the team began to experience difficulties. The team could not qualify for The Frankfurt Major. The mood of the team was also not at a reasonable level, as former members of the «Fly» and «MoonMeander» team win this tournament as part of OG.

After its failure, the organization decides to invite three new players from the Ninjas in Pajamas team, who also could not qualify for The Frankfurt Major. So the Swedish «Limmp», «Handsken», and «Chessie» players joined the team.

With the new roster, the team showed good results until «Limmp», «Handsken» and «Chessie» left the team. This was because the team performed poorly at The International 2016.

The team did not show high results, and the last victory in the tournament was already in 2016 when the team won the Dota 2 Canada Cup – Season 6 tournament.

The last team that qualified for The International 2019: «Meracle», «Limmp», «tavo», «Zfreek», «Adam».
