Thiay «JT-» Jun Wen is a Malaysian eSportsman, born March 7, 1998. He began performing on the professional stage in 2017.
The start of a player’s career was quite successful. In October 2017, Thiay joined the Geek Fam team, and already in December, he won his first ZOTAC Cup Premier: DOTA2 SEA tournament, showing an excellent game. In this team, the player felt comfortable, as the game was going well with him. For six months, the team won 3 more tournaments, Asia Pacific Predator League 2018, Malaysia Esports League Group Stage, Malaysia Esports League. And the team took many prizes in various other tournaments. The only thing Thiay was not happy with was the fact that the team was unable to qualify for The International 2018. In September 2018, after the reshuffles, Thiay was invited to play for Mineski. The player immediately accepted this offer, as it was quite a promising direction, in his opinion. Already in October, a new team with Thiay won their first tournament, Red Bull Guardians. And in December, the team took first places in two more tournaments, AMD Dota 2 Pro Series 2018 and DreamHack Mumbai Invitational 2018. But after the New Year, in January, the player leaves Mineski and goes to play NewBee. But after only a month, he left the organization due to internal conflicts in the team.
Two months later, he joins the For The Dream team. With this team, he performs at the OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019 China Open Qualifier. At this tournament, Thiay is noticed by the management of Invictus Gaming, and ten days later, Thiay signs a contract with the organization and immediately falls into the main team. Since at first Invictus Gaming experienced difficulties due to the team not being played, two months later, in June, the team won two tournaments at once, the FVBET Asian Masters League and the ZBT Invitational. But everything was not as beautiful as it seemed Thiay since the team could not pass the qualifying stage at The International 2019. After this, the team pulled themselves together and began to win. The team won first place in the DOTA Summit 11 tournament and prizes in the MDL Chengdu Major and World Electronic Sports Games 2019 China Finals. 2020 was not a very successful year in terms of first place. During the year, the player and the team managed to win only one tournament - the Asia Spring Invitational. Nevertheless, it is worth noting the second place at China Dota2 Professional League Season 2, CDA League Season 1, and ESL One Birmingham 2020 - Online: China and fifth place at the DreamLeague Season 13. At the beginning of 2021, the player continues to play for Invictus Gaming.
