Steven «StingeR» Vargas is an esportsman born December 4, 1996, in Peru. He began his professional career in 2015.
Steven started playing Dota 2 back in 2015. He walked a thorny path with teams such as Not Today, Elite Wolves, Revenge, and Artyk. A very experienced player who has already participated in tournaments on the local network such as The Summit 3 and JoinDota MLG Pro. Then in 2015, he took a short break, leaving the Elite Wolves team and decided that he would not perform professionally. In November, after a pause in his career, the player joined Team Artyk. But at the end of December, the team broke up. After such events, Steven was invited by Infamous as a coach but with the opportunity to play. He became a team player after one of the team members left the organization. Steven immediately became captain. It is possible to note such victories in tournaments as KOD League Season III, ProDotA Cup Americas # 6, joinDOTA League Season 10 America, and WESG 2016 Americas Finals. In March 2017, Steven joined NoT Today to participate in The Kyiv Major 2017: South America Qualifier. But unfortunately, the team could not pass the qualifications. It would seem that the team was not played, but before participating in the qualifications, the team won the Compu & Vision Cup - Season 1 tournament. After a failure in the qualifications, the squad was disbanded and later signed by Elite Wolves. Steven had already played. But already in September, the entire composition was signed by Infamous. Steven played with this organization until the summer of 2018. He left the team only because the team did not show good results but remained in good relations with the players.
After which, the player changed several more teams. And in July 2019, he returned to Infamous to participate in The International 2019 South America Qualifier. The team took first place and went to the tournament, in which the team took 7-8th place. But in October, the player was signed by Beastcoast. With this team, the player managed to take fourth place at ESL One Hamburg 2019. In 2020, Stephen continued to play for Beastcoast. The player helped the team earn more than $ 60 in a year.
